ARTIST BIO
Judy Ledgerwood currently lives and works in Chicago, Illinois. She received her MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her BFA from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Ledgerwood's work has shown in countless exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Her solo-exhibitions include Tracy Williams Ltd., New York, NY; Hausler Contemporary, Munich, Germany; Rhona Hoffman Gallery, Chicago, IL; Feigen Contemporary, New York, NY; and 1301PE, Los Angeles, CA. Her selected group exhibitions include Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, IL; Hausler Contemporary Zurich, Switzerland; Tony Wight Gallery, Chicago, Illinois; Kate Macgarry, London; and ARTBASELMIAMI, Miami, Florida. Recognized by her unique paintings and stunning installations, Ledgerwood's work is in numerous public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, NY; Los Angeles Museum of Modern Art; Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, IL; and American Embassy, San Salvador, El Salvador. |
