ARTIST BIO
Jay Shinn lives and works in New York and Dallas, Texas. He received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute, Kansas, City, Missouri. His residency programs have included Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture; School of Visual Arts, New York; Virginia Center for Creative Arts; and the Takt Residency in Berlin, Germany. His exhibitions include Kunstverein Neukolln, Berlin, Germany; Stunden 48, Berlin; Alice Gryphius Kunstraum, Berlin; Kansas City Art Institute, Kansas City, Missouri; The Rachofsky House, Dallas, Texas; Barrett Art Center, Poughkeepskie, New York; School of Visual Arts, New York; Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas, Texas. |
